[Blueberry Kisses]

I've been listening to Get A Guitar all morning and I feel like I've collected my thoughts:

 

Positive:

• Song is great, just very short/quick
• Fantastic sonic direction for the group
• That guitar solo in the bridge is a cool addition, I wonder if Wonbin actually played it?
• Choreo is great
• Thank God Eunseok is an okay singer, his rapping in Memories was giving Johnny
• Seunghan is truly Jaehyun 2.0 he is perfect

Questionable:

• Not a very dynamic song which is unusual for k-pop and even more unusual for an SM bg
• Very weird choice for a debut song because of above
• Written in a very low key for a boy group by k-pop standards. I think they could've raised it by at least a half step because...
• ...it doesn't really highlight their vocal tones at all.

But overall I'm really pleasantly surprised by this debut and that the group lived up to my expectations. SM groups usually have great first comebacks so I'm excited to see what else they'll do, hopefully pretty soon.
