Don't think It is, when It shows a improvement from previous comeback, since Cheshire was pretty much already 'out' from the chart after the same time of release and ITZY's brand in Korea is weak It's been some time. 

 

The reason why fans are glad 'Cake' is brigging some results is not because we are expecting It do hit big, but It shows that depending on the songs they release, ITZY still has chances to re-build their brand in Korea.

I think the main reason is the shady payola. From the voting suddenly became 70% korean, 30% international, international voters can’t vote in the second round (yet they call this global girl group) because they didn’t vote Wonhee, the way they revealed Wonhee’s ranking during the first round of voting and after the first round ended. Everything was so sketchy and unfair. 

I feel bad for Wonhee. She’s too young to be hated like this. Hybe should handle this whole voting thing differently. There’s so many ways for them to still include Wonhee in the debut line up like 5 members based on global vote, 1 producer’s choice.
 

I still can’t believe the top 3 before the finale for the global votes only (Jiwoo, Chanelle, Jeemin) failed to debut  No wonder the international voters were having a meltdown

The HYBE girls look cute (I refuse to type that stupid group name) and this lineup isn't even that terrible except for Wonhee. She's to unexperienced and her spot should be someone else's.

Basically guaranteed they'll get at least one award. Hopefully only Yeonjun speaks if they go up to accept the award. Between Kai's mush mouth and Taehyun's clipped way of speaking English, on Yeonjun is qualified to do it.
