The same happened in I-land where Jake, Jay, Niki and I think even Sunoo were “eliminated” at one point but they went to the underground area and later came up after some evaluations and performances and were in the final lineup of ENHYPEN.

I think it’s not gonna be a total elimination, it will probably be like the I-Land situation where the initially “eliminated” contestants will not go home but will go to a level below the passed contestants and they will compete there, until a select few will later come up and join the final lineup. I know Bang PD likes to do that with his survival shows. 

Please I’m still not over RURobbed yet  But I thought only non eliminated trainees would get to be in South Korea

I'm sorry these global group projects smell like failures. They're literally Koreaboo girls whose stanning of kpop groups pump up the egos of these Korean companies who say they want to be global but clearly do not respect or even understand the global market.

 

The A2K girls basically admitted they were stray kids fans and the dream academy girls were going crazy over getting to perform some basic kpop gg songs nobody knows or cares about in the west. Its a battle of stans living out their fantasies and CEOs without a clue. It's all so unserious.

 

But I'll be watching

If they eliminate 2 girls then they will have 18 girls left and that will be 3 teams with 6 members each for next round and if mission 2 they eliminate 6 girls then 12 left for final with 2 teams with 6 members each so the final lineup is probably 6

Go back 15 years and it would be unthinkable that people all over the world would be foaming at the mouth to cover their favorite Korean pop stars. Exporting the survival show fantasy of letting the children at home put themselves into the shoes of the trainees who are being swept up into the industry is an extremely shrewd business move. Fan engagement being lacking compared to Korea is one of the big hurdles to kpop in the west rn.

Has anybody in here been around long enough to remember the group 'Red Velvet'? They were a Girl Group from the early 10s. I remember I used to be obsessed with their tracks like 'Feel My Rhythm' and 'Queendom'. I hope they're allowed to reunite one day, such a nostalgic group.

Didn't follow the I'll-It survival show so I have no opinion on them for now. But the underwhelming reception on the debut lineup at least among the international fans was lowkey giving Kep1er  

 

I'll-It may gonna end up follow Kep1er trajectory I fear but Bang PD/Hybe will do everything to prevent that happened.

I hope they flop with that line-up, but you know Hybe will give them a sick concept with good music and everyone will switch.
