The problem is not even the fact that he’s releasing snooze but his vocals are so limited (even if improved). His songs kinda lack soul for rnb songs… 
 

Plus is English pronunciation is awful…

Blue was my most anticipated track going off the first teaser, but the second teaser was not giving AS much. It still may be the best song on the album though, we’ll see..

 

while BTS’s vocal line isn’t the strongest in kpop Tae is still 2nd best between the members, so I wouldn’t say his vocals are limited but he’s differently not pushing as much with these releases, they’ve been sounding laid back and easy (like Seven.) I hope the rest of the songs have him challenging himself and his own limits more. We need a pied piper/stigma/film out moment

 

(I agree with the English pronunciation— which is why the english track For Us is not shaping up to be my favorite rn. The US continues to undermine and exclude them so I don’t get why they keep releasing english songs esp when he sounds loads better in Korean)

Yuehua are simply pushing the wrong members which are Mia and Sihyeon. Sihyeon is just so boring to me, and she just doesn't has IT while Mia is talented and has star quality, however that doesn't mean she should be stealing all the spotlight. Mia even had the nerve to justify why she was getting all the lines and spotlight in one of her lives, where she basically said that her voice and image fits EVERGLOW the best which is why she's getting the most lines  Not even Wonyoung or any ACTUAL popular idol would ever dare to say something like that, like this Mia girl really needs to humble herself I fear, cause girl who are you?

The fact that people who aren't even familiar with EVERGLOW knows about the iconic No Lie line distribution Imagine being a Kpop group and seeing one of you b-sides going viral, not because of how good the song is or anything, but simply because it's known for having the WORST line distribution in Kpop history  Straight up embarrassing from the company's side   The fact that Mia has more lines in No Lie than Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo has in their own solo songs is just   

 

No Lie is still one of their best songs though

Btw, no girl group apart from Blackpink has achieved that yet either tough. Only BTS and BP and their members Lisa and Jimin have achieved it so far.

It's because the Korean music industry is not as big as we think it is. Korea creates huge stars etc. yes, but the industry itself cannot survive with the Korean consumers alone, unlike Japan who is the 2nd biggest music market in the world, and if you're famous in Japan, you have basically made it. This is why Kpop has always been branching out globally especially in Japan.

He is also wasted in The Boyz, he had like 2 lines in their last TT.

That group has so many potential it-boys that are being wasted in a 11 membered group, and most of them should've debuted in smaller number groups under the Big 4

Even when he was just starting the preparations for this album, he  said that he was aware that the music style he liked was not liked by the fans, but he still wanted to make the music he liked to make, and hoped the fans would like this side of him. That's why the songs that he has released so far, and most likely he will release from now on, will not surprise me. He releases songs exactly in the style I thought he would release. As for English songs, I guess that's the language he prefers to sing. You can see that the weight of the language is English in the solo songs that he has released besides his album. But I think it's getting much better the more he singing it. If he didn't practice at all, he wouldn't even be able to develop as much as he does now.
