But also Ten (who should have been in NCT 127 too), Yuta (who is a good vocalist but hardly ever used) and then the likes of Renjun, Xiaojun etc. who feel kind of underrated for some reason. 

 

I hope they avoid the unbalanced/unfair line/screentime issues in RIIZE. I guess not having 20 members will help. 

They play it safe and throw in the “faces of the group” for every comeback. How are the other members supposed to gain any popularity or recognition if they’re not given the same opportunities?  Honestly, I thought Xiaojun would’ve blown up after how well received he was in Make A Wish, but SM couldn’t be bothered to capitalize off of that.

I hope he does. Only calling his phone for his high notes (with the exception of b-sides of course), causing him to vocally decline for almost two years (luckily he overcame it and somehow became an even better vocalist), and now he’s sitting in a hospital; and by the time he heals, off to the military. No solo album, no SM Station single, etc. Now we’re going to be stuck hearing Doyoung hog up all the lines for the next two years because he’s the only other member who can sing with support!

Wayv was never a thing in China, Lucas was famous but not as WayV member. They should have switched after Love Talk but SM was dumb as always. Now they're kinda over, they're faceless without Lucas and Winwin is always missing (yes he's useless but they lost a member and then another member is always missing )

They should be the international unit after Love Talk, they really had the better music among the nct units until Kick Trash.

Ten, Yang Yang and Xiaojun are very good but they are wasted in that group.

WayV is kinda over tbh. They could make music in English (and be good at it) but there's not really a market for it. Plus they are the lowest selling NCT unit and damaged by Lucas scandal too. 

 

It's a pity but they are kind of in a bad place right now. I wish SM could have used more of the WayV members in other/new units though instead of leaving them in the dungeon.

Yeah that's why I mentioned Xiaojun specifically because he got a lot of attention in MAW but SM kinda just ghosted. It's the same with Yuta who was paid dust in their Japan albums and promotions even though he is popular there (with Japanese K-Pop consumers) and he's a native speaker.
