I really hate how transparent BEP is when it comes to STAYC's b-sides. Like, none of their album tracks could be a title track and I find it really boring and lazy (maybe apart from Young Luv but it would need some production tweaks). I don't really understand why this is happening because Apink, TWICE and CHUNG HA who worked with BEP in the past all have really strong b-sides. I love albums where more than 1 song feels title worthy, fromis_9's latest release is a great example of that.

They can do their own activities outside the group. Plus, I don’t think the contract is that long, only an album, a tour and a MAMA performance have been promised. And they’re being managed by LM Entertainment so, yeah.

the BEP duo has never been known for b-sides, whether good or bad. prior to stayc, they've just been producing title tracks.

you could consider it creative burnout, no access to better demos by other producers, etc. but it is kinda sad to see how STACKED with hits BEP's discography was up until stayc
