I'm honestly not even surprised since EXO have always been #1 streaming act on SM. What I'm more surprised about is the fact that Kai outdid his whole group, which honestly shows how much potential he has as a soloist.

The fact that YG has barely released 10 songs this year, and the YG list had to include random b-sides of TAEYANG and TREASURE with less than 3M streams, due to the company simply not releasing enough material

SNSD succeeded with IGAB purely because of their previous successes and conceptuality, but SM doesn't realize it was that and are now trying to replicate its success by experimenting a ton... Like just give us a non-cringe bop what's so damn hard

I just don't think V is the kind of person to release bops. Almost all his self-released solo songs so far are snoozy ballads like Winter Bear. It shouldn't surprise anyone that he's making coffee shop music, just like it shouldn't surprise anyone that Jungkook is releasing Bieber-esque pop.

The reactions when it debuted out of the top 10, them not charting on Spotify, Liz having no lines. The way it could’ve killed their momentum but SOTY I am came out right after.

Aespa will continue to flops in Spotify with that kind of sound their doing and that's okay. They dominates areas where it matters and will help their career in the long run

SM has always been experimental from TVXQ, Suju, SHINee, F(X), Red velvet, and NCT it’s just they always have balanced contemporary R&B pop to make the songs actually still sound good.  I mean even Exo’s debut with Mama and Thier comeback with wolf
 

SM has just got lost in thier cringey concepts of NCT Mess, Kwangya Storylines, and Super M Marvel ripoffs😭🤣 

 

they need thier new girl group to be fresh like SNSD or at least come up with something better then whatever they been dying for the last 7 years

I didn't watch the entire Scouts show but what groups did the audience enjoy the most? Like I saw they're a bunch of teenagers from all over the world and most of them never cared about kpop so it's interesting to see what they liked
