While most of their peers are still doing theaters or first  started to moved to arenas now, with some of them struggling to sell out those arenas

What's the scalpers gonna do with tickets if they can't sell them? Have a guess. Many are selling for half or even 20% of the original price (there are many receipts of scalpers camping outside the stadium and printing posters trying to sell the ticket, offer 1 for 1 etc). Just ask anyone in Vietnam and they know the story as it's all over the news. International Blinks should stop making a joke of themselves if they don't know the story

They debuted around 2019 I think. And they won that flop show Peak Time, a survival show for flop groups. Their visual as a group though  wow. Look at them.

such an overload wouldn't have worked with any other group because it would completly exhaust the fandom

bts are lucky that army are this dedicated & gave all members their flowers (some more than others, but thats inevitable),

but as a company, if my goal was the full support of the fans for each release, i wouldn't recommend that tactic at all

Most of those Mic Drops performances, the SNL performances happened between 2018-2019. Why are you bunching them up together, like, that's peak revisionism. We can check the dates?

They did not help Fake Love DEBUT

 

Fake Love had ALREADY debuted at #10, which is the point here. At that point in time, BTS did NOT have more promo accumulated than Blackpink by 2022.

 

Blackpink in 2022, when they released PV and the other song, they already got all those activities: Corden, Fallon, VMAs performances, multiple Western Awards show wins, Coachella, Dua collab, Gaga collab, Selena collab, radio tours, radio spins, multiple TTH #1 and cover.

I repeat, Blackpink had more promo than, specifically, February 2018 BTS but they barely got Top20 BB Hot100.

 

At no moment was I talking about Dynamite or Butter, nor I am expecting them to pull those numbers. I don't need to because lower standards are still unachievable for them.

 

I already did, it got TTH #1, Western artist full promo, Regular radio spins. Non of those were given to Fake Love...

Also history revisionism again, Website sales DID NOT exist for 2018 BTS. They charted with iTunes alone which are not banned for Blackpink either, they can take advantage of it just like everyone else. 

I repeat, I am not asking Blackpink to have a Dynamite/Butter so these "website sale" allegations can not come into play.

 

If your argument is that more people bought Fake Love in 2018 than PV in 2022...

If you say 2018 US ARMY are a bigger fandom than 2022 US Blinks, then you are also shooting yourself in the foot, are you saying that Blackpink have gotten massive promo for years and people are still not turning into their fans?

 

We don't need to pretend they do because noone said that, noone was comparing 2023 BP to 2023 BTS. The argument is why they are still not getting Fake Love debut numbers?

(Let’s not even talk about Boy with Love debut numbers which also happened when BTS still have simmilar levels of push than 2022 BP)

 

Also, let's pretend for a second that February 2018 BTS had accumulated equal promo than September 2022 Blackpink....

 

Here is the crutch of the argument: Blink claim that the GP would love Blackpink if they get enough exposure.

 

So, that alleged Pre-Fake-love level of promo should have pushed them way higher than it did to BTS, its enough promo to do something, no?

But it DID NOT happen 

 

That's the thing, Blackpink does not have the GP appeal Blinks claim they do. Blinks keep inflating BP popularity when they clearly display the same appeal than other kpop groups.

Blinks can not keep them in that pedestal and pretend other groups have 'less appeal' anymore.

Y'll can not keep putting down other groups anymore.

It's been DEBUNKED.

 

 

PS: Also, lemme point out how this argument concern the "Western appeal" argument, BP is massive in Asia, congratulations  I am not irrational.

At no point I am dismissing their Asia success so anyone who starts to bring out Asian stats would look foolish but watch them
