the way they had the nerve to put a the album leftover and rosé leftover (htl is nice but still) on born pink :skull:

a literal nightmare!

and when those basic shut down teaser pics of the white garage came out and we were so sure that the garage door would open to some amazing outdoor set :skull:

one year later it's really clear how much YG ****** up and how little money they spent

like the VMA performance will forever be iconic and I love it to death

but it was a cheap performance... when we were so sure that "yg would go all out for it as they always do" :hoetenks:

OUUU the Shut Down/The Album teasers….a nightmare. The bore the snooze. Like compare it to this piece of cinema of a teaser:

Teddy has an ear for hits but he's been releasing the same song since 2010. Something about 2NE1 changed that man and he immediately shoved that sound onto BB, then BP, and is now trying to push it on Treasure too. It's so tired bring back the Teddy that used to genuinely love Hip Hop and R&B.

BP needs to be allowed to work with producers who will grow and diversify their sound. Hybe would make them sound EXPENSIVE and LUXURIOUS like their image is supposed to be.

The way this makes no sense due to the history of Teddy and his (problematic) history with being a part of and appropriating black culture :deadbanana2:

Also no one in YG was ever produced by Teddy outside of 2NE1, Big Fads, BP and Somi.

He touched Winner and iKon for like 2 songs but thats it

Didn't alcohol free and Pop! get like 300m points each? Twice's peak was years before BP's in Korea but they're still doing okay enough.

I'm not even a Once though, you have the wrong one

Twice doesn‘t have a hit in Korea the level of Shut Down and Pink Venom since Fancy.

Twice's 2nd single was a year end #1 hit. They literally peaked before BP even debuted. To still be putting out big but not massive hits in Korea 7 years later is an enormous achievement of its own.

also we need BP to finally certify their record sells in the US. They sold around 20M in SPS for their singles alone.

The way this is only true if you count physical copies of singles. The way aespa is still above them in sales even if you DID include those singles. :rip:

aespa is about to fill as many seats in a single japanese venue as IVE has sold records in Japan

This is a 12 date tour. aespa is currently in the process of destroying those numbers. Even if we only include the first 12 dates of aespa's tour it still had 20k+ more attendees.

aespa isn't on the same level of IVE at all, they're above them. This post gave me enormous second hand embarrassment. :rip:

Considering one debuted earlier thanks they have more touring power :bibliahh:At the end the day IVE still reach 4M, faster than Aespa. But keep fighting for 4 sales gap

IVE has sold 200,000 albums from their JPN sales. Let’s not even talk about hits and popularity in Japan. The fact it was their first concert in japan and welcomed 57k fans as far I know before Tokyo dome. Aespa welcomed 40,000 so much for they can sell more tickets than IVE!!! :deadbanana2: i‘m not gonna talk about Korea and internationally because you’re clearly delusional but that’s okay

Baby Twice can‘t even crack the top 90 in 2023. That doesnt have anything to do with a year apart.

YG needs to do something fast or the Pinks record will be destroyed with the next NJ comeback specially if it’s a full album :giraffe:

but honestly if Blackpink comeback it probably will be next year :gaycat7:

why would anyone care tbh. BP released NOTHING this year and NJ have been mega successful. The consensus even on BP twitter has been thats fine. Like we are not even getting The Girls.

Again with the embarrassing delusions.

IVE has members who debuted years before aespa.

aespa's first physical release was 2 months before Ive's

aespa has sold 150k+ units of their KOREAN albums in Japan

You're confusing the first stop of aespa's Japan tour with IVE's entire Japan tour, aespa has 110k attendees in Japan so far before Tokyo Dome

For kpoppies its peak>longevity for some reason

its easy to peak high as baby rookies but hard to stay relevant in sk… wonder who will have to twice level longevity out of 4th generation :giraffe: maybe adspa

BP's peak was less than 3 years ago. Twice's was in 2015/6. We're talking about a 5 year difference in this case.

We are 8 years removed from Twice's peak and they're still getting moderate hits in Korea.

I'm sorry but I love my twice girlies but they're not getting hits since like 2020 (I consider alcohol free to be a hit since I think it peaked in top 20) they even struggled to enter top 100 with their last release:biblio: that's fine tho since they're still big in Japan and doing well in us
