Dreaming about what? Stop being so blind you should start wishing the best for they not for you and that includes their health and mental health

How is wishing for their disbandment doing any of that :giraffe:

The fake concern is laughable

I thought Melissa and that other navy user were the only ones with the faux complaints against the “constant attacks against BP” in here…but I see we have a new member in that group. :bird:

not everyone is out to get your girls. I see the same behavior from some aespa stans in here. Thoughts and prayers

What you expect from that sm sheep here… everyone and their grandma is doing payola expect their sm favs

Y’all are so desperate to yell “SM Sheep” and just stay the dumbest things. Everyone was part of the new music playlist and all of the major digital acts were trying to push their releases at least one month out from each other to have less competition. I wasn’t dragging anyone - just guessing that SM would space their major act out at least one month from Starship’s flagship group.

The new music playlist was removed off Melon since June 15. It's no longer a thing now.

Oh, I missed that. It’s my new excuse for why “Party O’Clock” flopped :foxaylove2:

SM is not a reference to me, cause their marketing tactics are as outdated as JYP's. Not to mention, in the last few years they've chosen to push the wrongs acts for the western market instead of focusing more on their strongest markets (East Asia/SEA). JYP is slighty better, cause at least they focus on their artists with the most global potential. Even If they could do better.

HYBE is actually the one knowing what they are doing.

HYBEs competence is so fascinating. With their debut NewJeans was heavily domestic marketed with LSF being the global girlgroup but they saw how the reception flipped, NewJeans is becoming such a force in the U.S. and LSF is getting hits with B-sides in Japan and Korea so they flipped the promo. Makes sense too given 3/5 NJ members speak English and only 1 in LSF.

SM is always doing the WRONG thing, watered down Disney, serving ITZY with their English Aespa tracks, making garbage like Jopping wtf was that :toofunny3:

SM doesnt adapt sonically and expects their usual noise or corny harmonized "grand" choruses to sell

OMG, ditto, and cupid are very chill and laid back but sm would never go that route

gotta be loud one way or another

Is there hype building for Itzy's comeback or should they have dropped the lead already? :rip:

The writing has been on the wall for some time re: Blackpink. The girls obviously have aspirations to not do music anymore.

Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo want to be models and socialites, and Rosé has decided bleaching her hair is a full time gig.

I do love Newjeans' management but I can't deny that I feel their promotions are very weak for a group that big. Like... they could've been anywhere in Korea but so far they are only doing two music shows per week (Music Bank and Inkigayo) and the IU's youtube talk show. I wonder how big the songs would be with a little more push, not too much (since I fear for the girls' healthy) but enough to expose the songs to a new audience. Especially some TV variety shows. I would like to see them on Running Man so bad.

Honestly I used to be a Melon/K-chart fiend when I was in my little koreaboo era but after seeing how LOW the streams actually are for tracks on Melon atm I'm cackling at how much weight we put into arguing about these songs :ahh:

Maybe the company is letting the music speak for itself and isn't prioritizing domestic promo for now. I mean, they're probably busy rehearsing for a US debut performance (Lollapalooza) as we speak.

Also 3/5 of these girls are teenagers with curfews and not grown adult so I'd rather they do minimal promo instead of experiencing burn out one year into their debut. Minji just talked about how she got to sleep for 15 hour straight a couple days ago and I'd prefer that over aespa revealing how they slept for maybe 5 hours a week to be honest.
