comparing it to bp when the biggest gg is getting next to nothing from their company is funny, nugu and global superstar can’t be compared

• 2020 full album with 3 singles and the most promotion ever seen to that point in kpop, also a promo single(Sour Candy)
• 2021 hiatus year
• 2022 full album with 2 singles and global promotions, also a promo single(that video game song)
• 2023 nothing yet
• Total 5 singles + 2 promo singles

Then there's touring, brand endorsements, acting in global shows, always showing up at events around the world, etc

RV: 

• 2020 hiatus year with promo single(BoA cover project)
• 2021 mini with 1 single, promoted in Korea only
• 2022 2 mini albums with 1 single each, promoted in Korea only,  and a basically unpromoted Japanese album that was full of 4 year old songs(1 new single)
• 2023 nothing yet
• Total 4 singles + 1 promo single

 

 

Even without bringing up the scale of the promotions Red Velvet just isn't as active as a group. Again you look stupid throwing around these claims.

I have my guess because there's a blink who used to live in this thread and uses the exact same drags but got banned for a while and is now like a regular person on their main account

Maybe YG did something by releasing song snippets everyday leading up to the release. They’re pre-orderes have almost tripled due to the snippets 

 

they are at 35-40k before the snippets

It's a promotional single, I included Red Velvet's promo single as well and kept them separate from real singles.

Why would I argue about 4 years ago? Your claim was that RV receives much more promotion and SM is desperately trying to make them happen. SM started promoting RV less and their album sales actually tripled. You have actually 0 idea what you're talking about do you?
