I keep repeating this but that troll has 5,000 posts in a thread where SNSD is far and away the most commonly liked group and has been subject to reading about every achievement across their 16 year career several times over at this point. Nobody else who was agreeing with the obvious flamebait got the lashings that one user did becaase that one user was trolling and the others probably weren't. Also it's worth noting that the streaming service that's being used as a measuring stick here was not widely in use during 2nd gen, and major releases from all of the big three were MIA on spotify until years into 3rd gen. A lot of us kpop fans were switching streaming services regularly in the mid 10s because catalogs would change and albums would appear or disappear. There's a flip side of this where newer kpop fans side with obviously toxic trolls and call groups who are bagging hits and topping industry-wide ranking surveys 16 years into their career irrelevant hags in order to pretend that their favs are special.
