idk where you’re getting this idea they are a legacy act when they’re making new moves in new markets. Korea couldn’t give two shits about them anymore but it’s been pretty clear they’re leaning more into other markets anyways. Still slaying Japan, multiple stadium shows in the US and just passed 1m pure album sales here as well (only K-pop girl group to do it.) 

it’s not a hate boner, just a thought I got after watching their tour fancams and they are obviously doing great in that department 

 

obviously they have a huge fanbase (so they have album sales and big tour), but they became kinda irrelevant to the gp, they don’t have success with their singles anymore and even their fanbase doesn’t seem to stream their newest music 

streaming is the main music consumption metric right now and they do so so there, their saving grace is their huge catalog, so their totals doesn’t look that bad but here stands my point - there are a lot of people who are still rooting for them mainly because of their earlier output
