between this and newjeans claiming they don't record their songs with vocal guides, one can't help but laugh at HYBE's PR machine :rip:

Unforgiven is a bop but theres something missing with Le sserafim. None of the girls standout like Ive(Wonyoung,Yujin), Itzy(Yeri,Ryujin),Aespa(Karina,Ningning).

Nothing is distinct about them, Not all members need to standout but in this case there is none. There are no special qualities about the members. The group is so homogenous

This has to be one the worst takes ever

When will companies realize things are never better the 2nd time or received as well.

Yunjin having a little moment with her little back bend in Antifragile so they give her the same thing in Unforgiven :deadbanana4: it was just like “oh that again”

It was so painfully obvious that they were trying to replicate the lightning in a bottle that was Antifragile with Unforgiven in terms of melody and lyrical structure.

Antifragile > Cassie Mashup Fearless > Unforgiven

3/3 still though. Unforgiven is very ITZY indeed but back when they released music I loved so I'm a fan but yeah it doesn't live up to the last two sadly

Eve, Psyche etc. would've been a riskier title choice but honestly would've loved to see it be the title as it's by far the standout of this 'album' definitely a smash in my charts

The other songs are good nothing awful the latina one was very fun but perhaps not songs I'll revisit as often

As much as I stan LSRF more, IVE won the debut album battle

They're probably the most faceless 4th gen GG in terms of the heavy hitters

What do you mean by faceless?

I can only speak as an international fan but that their musical output is bigger than their identity as a whole. There’s no brand recognition; what exactly is their distinct identity/aesthetic? Where do they fit in the 4th gen landscape? They have no standout visuals or vocals. For example, although NMIXX may only have moderate commercial success, they have captivating Sullyoon and a reputation for powerhouse/stable live vocals.

Is their only thing that Kazuha can bend her leg?

Some of y'all looking like this trying to come up with arguments about LE SSERAFIM being "faceless" and not having standout members. Just say you don't like the song and go because it's giving clownery.

Hybe only lists producer credits not song writing credits. She could have very well wrote those lyrics :michael:

saying that le sserafim has no standout vocals or a visual is just crazy to me :rip:

yunjin is a great vocalist + chaewon is good as well (her tone is literally perfect for kpop imo)

then we have kazuha who literally looks like a model like :deadbanana: there is a reason why her fancams smash

It’s one thing to not like a cb. But le sserafim faceless ? No standout member.

Lets not act like Ms. Bobbisha isn’t the ace bias wrecker of Leslayrfim, miss mamas cut that hair and she never stopped serving since

Sakura, ha sales impact and decade of experience. A main dancer!

Jennifer, thee main vocal singer-songwriter and our favorite American homegirl

Kazuha, the new payola queen and future IT girl; her visual and center push must be studied

Eunchae the baby slayer, we did a lot on ha at first but she keeps proving why she’s here to stay

Lesserfaim may have missed the mark with this EP a bit but they are still a top tier group this gen constantly outdoing most of the girls out. Let’s just treat this like another mini and await their real debut album

Yunjin has several songs where she is the sole writer. She's definitely capable.

and we can say that le sserafim is known for their performing skills

NMIXX has all those vocalists and none of them really stand out like that (i like haewon and sullyoon tho) :bunny:
