Among the girlgroups to perform at Coachella I think ITZY are the closest to Blackpink in terms of potential and stage presence

 

Their award show stages always EAT, their music is so FUN, and they often serve LIVE vocals and I believe they can make a great festival show

As much as I tout NewJeans as the next act to rival BLACKPINK in the western hemisphere they would TANK in the festival circuit  like Attention, Ditto, OMG in a festival? Bop snooze fest I fear. Their brand is songs you wanna dance to with your earphones but they lack an OOMPH discography, something BP has to a T I fear

 

BLACKPINK will probably remain the biggest GG globally this decade whew

I am curious about how TXT and skz will do headlining Lollapalooza. GGs are definitely more GP friendly while BGs are more fanbase fueled

I'm not even a BP fan but I can't really imagine the other girl groups on a big stage like that. It's not that they are the most talented or anything but their music is literally made for festivals. Even if I didn't know the songs, I'd be jumping up and down in that crowd
