I also didn’t mind the tank outfits also lol. LMLT is giving GP friendly. I feel they will follow the RV print and have a few batshit crazy songs/concepts mixed in their discography every now and then.

The bar was in hell only in the early stages of 4th gen with Itzy... Now we have groups like Nmixx and aespa whose sub-vocalists are better than the ones of major vocal groups like RV and SNSD, BP's entirety, 95% of Twice, etc...

I think it could be more because they had to scrap LSM's planting trees title track and since then, they probably struggled to find the right title track in such a short time. We know that they had to hold emergency writing camps in the past few months. 

 

It would make sense considering there is now talk of a double title track for this comeback, which suggests they ultimately couldn't decide on *the* one title song or wanted to bet on two songs and see if either will take off.  Plus SM probably got spooked after Girls (the song) didn't go totally to plan as the title last time.

Mamamoo and maybe RV depending on how Joy feels that day are the only vocal groups from 3rd gen though? aespa, NMIXX, NewJeans all have much better vocals than their 3rd gen counterparts and the groups that don't stick out vocally(Shitzy, Le Sserafim) are the best female dancers the industry has ever seen. 

 

Also I'd like to point out that nstinx is miles ahead of almost every idol group ever vocally.

svt sold 17m albums in korea, 2.6m albums in japan. skz sold 11m in korea, 1m in japan. 

svt most sold in korea is 3.6m, japan is 700k. skz most sold in korea is 3.2m, japan is 400k.

skz is no where near svt in japan. skz havent even reach tokyo dome yet. 

svt focus mainly on japan, they never even bother in the west. skz focus on the west. its just different market. 

svt has chart in korea since debut while skz hasnt even chart after 5 years. 

its not even comparison.

skz more popular than svt members where? how many magazine covers, solo cfs that individual skz members have? they are completely nugu in korea. the only known one is the bully one. 

asia is always the main market of kpop. 'the rest of the world just usa and other countries that no one bother to tour
