I don't get the hate. Sure they kinda riffed off of Aespa but it's not like all of their concepts were original either. The song and video was a bop. Lowkey with it was movie.

AESPA themselves (and I love them) were a K/DA knock off lmao idg the hate MAVE: get

Damn they're so hardworking :clap3:

Yeah they would just straight fly to Paris from LA instead. This cause unnecessary jet lag for them.

Butter was catchy but I wouldn't call it a good song

the korean coffee shop smash we needed :clap3:

what :rip: you can dislike their music but all the members' solo output has been super diverse with actual artistic input from each one of them? Just in this past month we've gotten a Rock song (RM), Synth Pop  song (Jimin), Old school hip-hop song (j-hope), and now a Boom Bap song from Suga. Not everything needs to be music to sniff poppers to :deadbanana:Y'all really just be saying anything fr

Just because it was varied doesn't mean it was interesting

Nah their last good song as OT7 group was Dynamite :giraffe:

Every subsequent OT7 release particularly the English singles getting worst and the members itself notice the quality was lost due to the loss of passion so they announced group hiatus.

Well I don't think a company can be worse than BB.

Who's making all these companies? At some point there has to be over saturation and all these smaller companies eventually go out of business or get bought out.

sis you usually spill the correct tea on everything but this has already been debunked: https://www.soompi.com/article/1480338wpp/big-hit-music-clarifies-that-btss-butter-has-no-copyright-issues

The original songwriter (Sebastian Garcia) is credited if you look at the wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butter_(song)

Quote

Previously, it was brought up on online communities that a part of “Butter” has the same melody as a part of Luca Debonaire’s song “You Got Me Down” from 2020.

Luca Debonaire shared via social media that he bought the topline in 2019 from Sebastian Garcia, who is also credited as a composer of “Butter.” This raised questions of potential copyright issues with the songwriter Sebastian Garcia having the same topline used in two separate songs.

In response, Big Hit Music released the following statement:

It has been confirmed that there are no copyright issues regarding “Butter.” It is a song that was finalized and released after undergoing a process of confirming with all songwriters that there are no issues with the song, and there are also no issues currently regarding the song’s rights.

However, we are aware of the claim that there is an issue regarding copyrights, but even if that is the case, the musical rights still belong to “Butter.”
