With Enhypen, I still don't really know who's singing sometimes but I'm not a huge fan of them. This is biased bc I like them but I definitely don't think txt's voices sound that alike. Maybe in their older stuff where I feel like there was more autotune but Soobin's voice is so distinct how can people confuse that for someone else???

This is how you know it’s all based on how our ears have trained to listen to certain artists lol. You say you can distinguish TXT while saying “ENHYPEN sounds the same“ when it’s the exact opposite for me lol. Jungwon’s voice has got to be one of the most distinct among the male idols  now we personally are talking about groups that we like, but if you ask a casual listener then both of those groups might sound the same because of the intentional HYBE vocal processing, which does exist 

but this doesn’t stop at HYBE, i think this happens with any group you don’t listen to that much, be it from any company.

He basically has the same amount of lines as Hanbin (technically the main vocal but let's be real Seungeon is the best singer and is the real main vocal). This song would not be the same without his distinct vocal colour and skills, he is made for this song

i can tell lsrfm & txt apart pretty well but can’t do it at all with enhyphen or nj except danielle.

Their vocals aren't the best (as for most groups now tbh) but they make up for it with their discography methinks

ENGODPEN do not sound the same. Jungwon has a unique nasally tone that makes the songs. Sunoo doesn’t have a typical voice either. Then there’s Jake saying some shite in English. Jay and Nikki sound different in their raps.

 

Just don’t give them a mic that’s turned on and they’re good. My kings.

Yes. Their discography is good but would be better if they were competent vocalists.

Fair enough. Tho if I like an enhypen song enough, I'll put it on repeat and even now I struggle trying to tell who's singing. Same with NJ, these two groups aren't just hard for me lol.

I agree they aren't amazing, but I still enjoy their live performances and discography. Not every group needs to be like Exo lmao. Even NCT has amazing singers but doesn't do much for me if I don't like their songs. 
 

And the bar for 4th Gen isn't great. Enhypen and Stray Kids don't have amazing vocals either. And I like Ateez, but only Jongho is a standout. Tho I feel 4th Gen bgs don't get as much hate because they do way more live performances compared to ggs.
