illia Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Blackpink girls are obviously not dumb and it makes perfect sense for them to stay from the financial standpoint I just hope they slightly changed the contract that would give them more musical freedom and that's it

MonsterNavy Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Just now, Rhyme said: I would be so happy with 2 albums, one mini album, and 2 solo comebacks each for the length of their contract. realistic: 2 mini albums, 1 full album or 1 mini and 1 full album + final single. and the focus being more on their solo albums from now on.
illia Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 wait this is amazing I'm a sucker for some good noise music xikers 5th gen leaders? Bepler are going to have some competition

Yg often use in-house producer that work too slow or create similar lyrics/ sounding. in case of bp, they need bigger pond to choose.

She will never have an active music career in YG but maybe she’s fine with that because she’s used to it now I guess Jennie is the only member who stated she wanted to release more music. i don’t understand why rosé is always passed as the only BP musician
aesthetic bih Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Say My Name is cute and I understand why the Korean GP prefers that song the most. It's the only one that serves a cute concept But I prefer Over Me and En Garde cuz they are such jams

She's either aware of it or has decided her other activities are just worth more. Renewing makes sense. Blackpink will release enough to keep their profiles while focusing on far more interesting and lucrative gigs. Yg will continue to profit off little effort. And blinks will still be able to brag about numbers. A win for everyone except antis and those who expected more from Blackpink given their earlier output.

I guess twice really is bigger than them in the west Oracle Park is actually in San Francisco not Los Angeles. I don't know why everyone on twitter is not mentioning the city but just California. Twice is also going to perform somewhere close by, 2 shows in Oakland arena. I think Blackpink will have a concert in Los Angeles too. How long will this tour go on for anyway.

Get Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Why does everyone think all of them renewed their contracts and for 3 years too. Didn't MonstaX have a group concert after one of them decided not to renew with the company?
Cain Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Tbh I haven’t stanned a BP song (except for SD) in years but YG has made them into the biggest girlgroup on earth and all members individually have incredibly lucrative income opportunities and they’re in the middle of one of the biggest tours ever I would resign too

I love their songs and performances from 2016-2018. Hopefully something changes if they actually renewed and they actually release good songs and performances again but I know it's only a pipe dream.

Imagine attending all these fashion shows, hanging out with huge celebrities, and releasing a mini album occasionally to silence your fanbase. They are living the dream, tbh. Why does everyone think these things are all that great lol. Fashion shows can be tiresome and boring as **** but they only go to these for 4-5 times a year anyway.
playboi Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 This album hits so well during spring/the first warm days of the year Need her to drop the sellout generic BS and go back to this sound immediately NO MORE SUGA SONG

MX had to postpone the American tour two times because of pandemic so the final dates were after the contracts expiration. Only after the tour (2-3 months after contract expiration) it was announced who's renewing and who's not. I.M didn't renew with Starship but he's still participating in every group schedule.
