bidet Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 I'm fit but in the last couple of months I haven't had the time/motivation to go to the gym and I'm thinking of signing up for a group activity that I'll be 'forced' to go to regularly in 2023. I don't love endurance training but I've only heard great things about Crossfit and I'm thinking of giving it a try next week, I'm curious to see if Atrl is into that? Do you believe that it's a cult? Do you enjoy the anti-Crossfit memes? Or do you do Crossfit yourself?
Mtjjproducer Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 I love it. I do CrossFit 5 times a week. Been doing it for 5 years now. Make sure you find the right box that has a good onboarding process. A lot of people think because they are fit they can jump right into CrossFit. It takes time because of the Olympic lifts and cardio/gymnastic skills we do. It is kinda a cult but in a kinda good way. You end up being friends with the people in your class which was surprising to me cause i use to be a loner. People tend to always go at the same time each day so you see each other a lot. make sure you start off for the first few months doing the scaled version of the workout and build yourself up to rx.
Beyondslay Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 It's very effective but it's so f*cking expensive.
Yawn Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 would love to. i love group workout classes and it’s my preference for exercise. there’s no where particularly convenient for me tho and it’s extra expensive in london.
