It was on the American Idol Christmas album and that’s not on streaming. I think it would have a lot of streams cuz people are always asking about it. Ah yes! I use my mp3 player download onto iTunes growing up, so it’s on my phone. But yeah I hope they put it on Spotify too
Nightingale Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Princess of Christmas. UTT is rightfully becoming a modern Christmas smash and SCYHM is coming
LastKiss Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 When you serve quality every time Now get UTT in the top 10!

Why doesn’t she acknowledge this song or the parent album that was actually a successful album and can actually be a classic? She always acknowledges the flop second Christmas album and it’s songs.

She mentioned WIR album before her new one in this clip.
Roberto Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Oh wow. Slay, Kelly. Underneath The Hit is almost top 10. Her first one since Piece By Piece.
JustLikeHoney Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Her song with Pentatonix is a sleigh bopity bop too.

Non-physical singles couldn’t chart until the rule change in the 2000s or she’d have more. how many of Xtina’s Xmas songs have charted btw? The Christmas Song (chestnuts roasting on an open fire) peaked at number 18 on the US Billboard Hot 100. the second highest position for the song on the chart after the original.

naval23 Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 The new queen of Christmas The fact this is more successful than her "My December" era
Ombre Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 She will eventually become THE queen of Christmas in the US. Her voice isn't shot so she can continue to build her Christmas legacy
HEAVYONIT Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 I never understood why Mariah would self-proclaim herself the Queen of Christmas because of that one song. What other Mariah tracks get significant holiday consumption? The only other one that receives somewhat consistent consumption is Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)
GreatestLoveofAll Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Not Kelly becoming a Christmas queen lemme get into these songs all I know is Underneath the Slay

I don't think she parted ways with RCA (the label she made Wrapped in Red under) on the greatest of terms, and I can see why her new label (Atlantic) would prefer her to focus on promoting holiday music she's made while being signed to them. I would LOVE for WIR to get the treatment it deserves (despite being the weaker overall album in my opinion) but I don't see it happening. Thankfully Underneath the Tree is gaining popularity every year on its own and hopefully she can get another original to follow suit!
