kishi Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Birmingham show was a blast! My cousins were so happy to finally see her live. I was interviewed by Solaiman and hope it makes it to her social media, Kamala shirt and all! 1 1

I went to the O2 show today and it was the best concert ever and I will post more about it tomorrow but just to answer this: if you want the tour program get there early because apparently it sells out fast. I got my program today but sadly the All For You shirt and Velvet Rope longsleeve were out of stock in the sizes that I wanted. That's probably because of the the O2 show the previous date and that stock sold out (but I have a ticket to see her in Amsterdam so maybe I'll buy them there) Edited September 30 by holyground13 Typo 4
Alaska. Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The glowing reviews will certainly help her sell even faster tickets if she doesn't take too long to do shows in Europe again. I wish I could have seen her in Paris since God knows how long she will be touring so close to me again (or how age will start hurting her stamina ) 1
its_britney_bitch Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Glasgow cancelled. Guess she didn't want to play to a 5% full venue.

It was originally scheduled for today, but that would have made it 5 shows in a row. The rescheduling hurt it, I assume.
holyground13 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I'm sad for the Glasgow girls :( Alas I'll give a review of my show last night at some point soon I'm just so exhausted at the moment 1
ICLDXU4HS Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Here we go. Seeing her in Cologne on Sunday if she doesn't cancel.
robbyds Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Sad for Glasgow but it was selling poorly so the decision was i guess warranted? Paris, Birmingham and London all sold well enough. Hopefully the remaining shows proceed as planned. Also have they tried dropping the prices? In the US they did deep discounting to move unsold tickets and it worked for most shows

In the US they did deep discounting to move unsold tickets and it worked for most shows I have not seen any discounts. All the UK shows seemed to have the same amount of pricing....£70, £90, £115 and £149 for general seats plus three tiers for packages. My relatives that didn't go said those are high ticket prices, but they haven't been to arena shows in a long time and they aren't aware that touring is where most of the artist's make their money. The last time Janet toured in many of these cities, tickets were somewhere around £40 on average. Edited September 30 by kishi 1

KKKIMO92 Posted September 30 Posted September 30 The rescheduling also inflated the cost, and since that date not selling good enough, they just cancel it. If the Glasgow date was scheduled right after Manchester, I bet they will go head with it. But transferring gigs to a half sold arena wouldn't be profitable enough. I wonder if she chooses some other EU countries, would thing pick up too.
its_britney_bitch Posted September 30 Posted September 30 5 hours ago, LuckyCunt said: or have radio stations do mass give aways Exactly, that's how I ended up with tickets to a random festival Kelis was playing. It was a radio "competition" that I think everybody won If they wanted to make the show happen they could've. Charging £150 for nosebleeds is obviously going to be a tough sell for anybody 2
MistressKay Posted October 1 Posted October 1 She's gonna cancel lol and she too scared to promote cause she still has the Kamala issue she hiding from.

KKKIMO92 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Finally seeing her tonight. She needs to keep it together, just do the shows anyways. Most of Germany shows are pretty much sold all floor and most of the lower tier. Amsterdam was also good. If she cancels any more dates, she's not coming back to EU ever again. Let the media rave for her shows, and do some promots next time, they will sell. Plus, it is not like half empty. Most of them are at least 70% sold. Even Carrie udnerwood sold less and still went ahead with her shows in EU. Come on Janet. 2
KKKIMO92 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Wow wow wow, the best show ever. Her presence and charm are unmatched and impeccable. Everyone is on their feet and feeling it the step she took out of the gate. Production is glamorous, all the elements work really well to keep the stage constantly changing and evolving. The band and the music are just so good, all the remixes and intersections flow so well. I definitely agree on the review that she holds such a high standard that rarely anyone in the industry can meet. By the way, the crowd loves Janet so much cheers, chantings, joys. I'm just really grateful that I get to see her Live! The mic was spot on, she reduced the dancing in some beginning of the songs but she really sang all the way throughout the shows and the precisions and never once she was out of breath. Manchester was sold out for the floors and lower tier and one third of the upper tier were also sold out. The arena is just so big but the prices are so high and I guess this date can average around 700K to even 1M. The loudest cheers were for Nasty, GTIG, WHYDFMLL, AFY, RN, WITOY, Escaped, Runaway, scream and TA. Loved that she added Diamonds, The best thing in life is free, and Whoops now(sorry I can't go) worked so well for Encore and the loudest singalong for TA. I was surprised that the crowd was quiet diverse. A lot of white people and lots of men. Also there are younger audience. A testament that she is a global pop icon. Quiet a few Hong Kong people too, I wonder why she didn't tour Hong Kong and Taiwan cause they sold well and with a new tour, they will eat it up. 7
robbyds Posted October 2 Posted October 2 @KKKIMO92thank you for sharing your experience. Happy to hear that attendance wasn't too bad after all for Manchester. Pleasantly surprised that the upper tier was even 1/3 used. I thought it was completely closed off.
butterflymimi Posted October 2 Posted October 2 i LOVED the show last night in manchester, it was such a blast, truly she's an amazing performer and i LOVED the setlist. the control section was definitely my favourite. i do wish there was more TVR songs but i really have no complaints, i feel v lucky to have seen her live finally 1
