I don’t mind her touring at all, it's better than not doing anything (like 2020 and 2021 :deadbanana2:) but it's annoying that she's not gonna put out new music or visit Europe.

Unbreakable is gonna turn 9 years old this year :noparty: Is it that hard fot her to drop an album?

Or like... a single. Something!

It’s definitely giving “I need money” more than “I’m passionate about touring”..despite what she’d like us to believe.

she’s been sued multiple times. She needs to fire her brother

Exactly, I think I'd be happy with just her dropping Luv I Luv… it's been 2 years but that song is still in my mind

Miss girl better change her residency address to an American ZIP before I hit up HMRC in England and let them pull a Shakira on her tax evading ***. A gazillion tours in America, over 10 years, it’s ridiculous

The Chase Center presale is happening, 20th row is $300+ fees.

I was not prepared. :rip:

Opening night is my birthday :gaynetcat2:

Yeah, excited she's coming to Florida and I'll go to all those dates (I work at one of the venues).

But WHERE ARE THE EUROPE AND LATIN AMERICA DATES? How long must they wait?

I'm going to Portugal, Spain and UK in June, really wanted her at least at Pride London or Rock In Rio Lisboa :cries:

And where are the dates for Canada? She keeps snubbing Montreal, Ottawa and no Vancouver, Hamilton or Calgary for her is strange.

Glad she’s extending. I might see her in Brooklyn if I find cheap tickets.

Wow I didn't not expect more dates! :soda:  Exciting!

Would anyone like to take over the OP?? I am truly not good at keeping threads up to date... let me know so I can ask a mod to arrange a transfer :gaynetcat2:

Hamilton is close enough to Toronto, but the Montréal and especially Vancouver snubs are bewildering for sure.

I’m surprised she hasn’t saturated the US market yet…but hey, when there’s demand :clap3:

Janet on theaters doesn't sound profitable, her team wouldn't allow that if she can do another arena leg in US instead.

This is like her years ago in the US, you need to do a few dates, build that reputation and momentum before a profitable arena tour…..How hard is it to just ship her touring materials to Europe for a few dates?

So disappointed she ain’t coming to Europe

I think she’s fine. This tour is only done because she owned Live Nation the Black Diamond tour. And her deal with the last record label is more like the label is investing to put out new materials for her, plus that deal ended so that she was launching black Diamond. Girl probably realized she won’t ever go back to US hence the selling of homes.

Finally, I think her auction is more like she doesn’t want to spend money to preserve her stuff and revenues have been donated for charity so this is nonsense.

PS: I got so excited receiving email from her saying she’s touring again only to find out it’s US only, thought if she’s ever touring again so soon it will be European leg…..

Wow. Two legs and she goes to Toronto twice and ignores the rest of Canada.

And Janet has done theaters on every tour since #1s. Theaters can be profitable and charge more per seat. Skipping Europe for so long is a big miscalculation. A mix of festivals, theaters and arenas is not much to ask.

Doesn't make sense, but I am sure more dates will be added since NA is the favored territory and hopefully it's Canada. My theory is that the setlist will probably be revamped like SOTW2 and new music will be featured at some point.

Hmmm, the LA date being on the same weekend as LA Pride again. :dies:  I've seen her already, but it's gonna be the same show and all, then I'll sit this one out, we will see.

Puzzled by this decision.

I hope she plans to drop new music. I don't get what she's waiting for. She clearly had a whole album ready pre-pandemic. The buzz around the doc. would've been the perfect time but she had the nerve to TEASE an unreleased song and keep it unreleased. This evil *****.

She's determined never to set foot in Europe again, isn't she? :rip:

Nah, she never finish that album and the BD tour canceled, so there’s more reason not to finish that album. I think she just doesn’t have that drive anymore. We are lucky that she is still investing at putting a good show. Album will probably come when legacy tour is not selling.
