If the family doc comes later this year, I could see a third leg coming cause it will remind people how amazing the jacksons are.

The last time she played a show there for State Of The World tour, it was sold out as well with 17,500 tickets sold and a $$1,778,376 gross. I wonder if the gross for the Together Again tour show will be close to or over $2M this time? 2

Mellark Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Just came back from the Hollywood Bowl. She is phenomenal in concert. The weather was not great but she slayed it. It was Opening Night of the Bowl 2023 season so they incorporated the YOLA to play a song which was really cool. Their numbers are definitely correct cause this is a cause for charity. However, it said raised 3.4M so it could include the sales from drinks and merch so the box office could be lower. Nevertheless, this is amazing for Janet.

A "nice" vibey album-track (placed between more triple A bops). Much as I want new music from her (and am actually mad she sat out what could have been real moments with Unbreakable and then did nothing after Made For Now), I'd rather she gets inspired and comes back with something meaningful and cohesive. Line up a few smart collabs too. She + her team have done amazing work rehabbing her brand. So, between her being the legend she is, her contemporary clout, and the present appetite for nostalgia, I think she could rope in a Drake, Kendrick, Bruno, Weeknd for that all-important launch/comeback track (to garner attention/buzz) and let the album be more her-centered. I can't find it no more, but I remember an IG story of her playing a beat in a car that was around the time she was teasing Black Diamond. Now, THAT sounded like what I expected. Moody, mysterious, mature, and kind of Velvet Rope esque with a twist (think I Get Lonely meets No Sleep). 1
