Janet was wonderful last night. Lil' Kim was great as well.

I would love to see Lil Kim live again, saw her in 2021 and 2022, though don't get rid of Ludacris...two hip-hop legends that respect Janet and are entertaining!

Mansfield show is PACKED but the venue through their instagram page did say that it was ALMOST sold out BUT by the looks of it, it may still be declared as a100% sold out show considering how big the crowd size was.

Just got back from the Mansfield show. She was amazing. And the dancers have definitely worked on their timing, because they had a great run.

But my GOD, the Xfinity Center is a garbage venue. It took me forever to get in and out, and the sound quality was atrocious. I'm glad I got to see her, though. The crowd loved the hits and a few of the deeper cuts (notably Do It 2 Me). My section was a bit trashy tho... talking and not paying attention during Come Back To Me. :rip:

Edit: They need to fix the interludes, though. There are too many moments where nothing is happening, and the screens either show a random graphic or are turned off. The audience lost focus every time it happened.

Denzel is unwell but is expected to return when the tour hits Toronto

Apparently Gil reposted something insinuating to a second leg

Also, I wonder how much of this was originally the Black Diamond Tour

I'm glad you had a fun time.

Just curious though...what do you think would get the audience's attention during the interludes?

So glad I finally got to see this legend live (although I thought I was going to miss it because traffic at the venue was atrocious :rip:). She cried during “Again.” :chick3:

I would spotlight one of the dancers and have them do a little something to remind the audience that the show is still going on and the interlude is just connective tissue. The moment after Enjoy was particularly odd because the song kept going for a while with the stage fully lit but nothing for the audience to look at. Or videos with Janet in them (like on the State of the World Tour) as opposed to the graphics.

What section were you in?

The traffic was unreal awful. I planned to be there at 6:00 and didn't park until 7:15. By the time I was through the security (and after getting my hoodie), Ludacris was already on stage. :skull: It was better leaving if only because I didn't have to go over Foxboro and just went 95 back home. And also because I BOLTED during Scream and ran back to my car to get ahead of the worst of it.

13. I was pretty much in the same situation. I got to my seat in the middle of Ludacris’s performance. Leaving was definitely better but still took a while. :rip:

Atlantic City SOLD OUT

I attended the Atlantic City show last night. I purposely didn’t watch any tour videos prior to the show so I could be surprised. The show was nothing short of amazing and legendary. Her mic was ON and the body was moving! I’m still in awe.

Janet really shines with more budget. I believe that with the rave reviews of this tour, it will build so much confidence in her, her team and Live Nation. Those who have attended her shows will want to revisit and new fans will want to witness her grace too. It’s going to be so legendary for her to have such a comeback and many more to come. Her biggest tour could be the next one!

It would be nice if she came to the LA show to open since Janet's show is the opening night show of the Hollywood Bowl season.

I feel that this show works well in arenas rather than amphitheaters in terms of production. :rip:

Going to see her in Toronto, gonna skip Luda though - how long is his set?

About 40 minutes. Be in your seat by 8:30 to be safe. Janet came on at 8:45 in Mansfield.

I would agree based on the clips.

The show is starting at 8:00 pm for the LA show since it's on a weekend. So maybe Luda starts at 8, and then Janet comes on at 8:45pm-9-ish? A little difficult to decide for me because Mariah Carey is headlining LA Pride on the same night, but after seeing her Lovers and Friends set is only 5 songs, I would rather just see Janet instead. It's the opening night of the Hollywood Bowl season anyway so it makes it even more special that Janet is performing. What time did she finish the show?

Yeah, because I genuinely don't know how it would work in a venue like the Hollywood Bowl. Maybe she will have a screen on the top of the stage and the screens will display the opening interludes and whatnot.

Essence seemed more like it was made for Black Diamond, even the wardrobe. That being said, I’m not sure how far they even got to making a show for it.

I want to say the show was over-over by 11. I left during Scream to make it back to the parking lot, and I believe I had just got into to my car just as the main version of Together Again was ending. The last video clip I shot was taken at 10:12, and that was during Alright.
