That's the general rule but it's still a case by case basis. It says there "reasonable force" should be used and the court decides what constitutes reasonable force based on evidence. Therefore, not all self defense can save you completely from liability. Just saying...

in the context of something attacking you out of nowhere i think u have the right to defend yourself

I mean I would myself if I were in that situation, but the court sometimes has their own interpretation you might think you are innocent under the law, and then... :dancehall:

Not only did she almost get ran over by the car,

 

the goose FOLLOWED her into the car and she left her purse outside.

The man clearly saw from where he was in the parking lot that she was being attacked, that's why he sped up to try and help her. She didn't almost get run over :rip:
