sugarysunflower Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 More for the 25+ crowd, for context: •Moved into Central London (one of my main work bases) very beginning of this year •No partner and no (close) friends - it’s difficult doing so in the big cities :( •Looking to take a day off work for birthday next month •Any fun ideas on how to celebrate another birthday, essentially alone, but in London? I figure there must be some discounts or fun stuff to do in the City.
Carter Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 well im in the same situation different city but i spend my birthday on my bed, so i feel u sis
Archetype Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Book a nice place to get lunch by yourself and go shopping + see a good movie. Or go to a spa. Do something nice for yourself.
Queen. Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Girl you don't need anyone else. You can do good all by yourself.
LadyDiana Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 See some good theater shows, hell I did a solo trip in london in october, had the time of my life!
katara Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Go have dinner at a good restaurnt and then go to a bar or club after that
cockatoo Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 Depends what you're into I guess. You could go to an exhibition, the theatre, the cinema. Maybe splash out and go to a fancy restaurant. If you're newish to London then you could go on a river cruise at night. Honestly London is a pretty good place to do things by yourself because a) there's a lot of single people doing that already and b) everyone is far too busy to notice or care what you're doing so you don't have to worry about being judged.
Bacardo Royale Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Get yourself a nice grindr hookup or go to one of the gay saunas like Sweat Box which has a mostly young clientele
