This is honestly the perfect album. I actually even crave to hear the interludes sometimes by this point :toofunny3: every song is so well done, I can’t believe she was planning on waiting until august to release this :rip:

Now that the dust has settled, it’s clear that this is her second best album.

Paris, Texas is hitting hard lately. Such a simple yet perfect song.

Same :skull: the piano intro is so good but then I remember that the male voice is going to start real soon so I have to hit the skip real quick.

Fingertips and Kintsugi hitting so hard today. Once your brain learns those melodies :gaygacat5:

True, especially Fingertips (bcuz Kintsugi already hit me when the album was out).

Her best back to back songs:

Kintsugi -> Fingertips

White Dress -> Chemtrails

Mariners -> Venice *****

Honeymoon -> Music to Watch Boys to

Freak -> Art Deco

Cruel World -> Ultraviolence

Born to Die -> Off to the Races

The way four of those are the first two tracks. She really starts her albums off with a bang.

I just want Lana to release those music videos before all the hype dies down.:rip:

All the references she has given in the video teasers and in her IG posts show a strong influence of women with tragic fates.:jonny6:

The weaker tracks include: Candy Necklace and Fishtail. Doesnt mean they are bad, just not on par with others.

Also just listened to this podcast series that did 2 great in-depth eps on her: one on her catalog right before the album release and an album review that the host did with the writer who reviewed the album on The Guardian and gave A&W Pitchfork's Best New Track.
