Her music is art, therefore it’s not immediately easily consumed, *****. You don’t realize the genius of her albums until fifth or sixth listen, sometimes the twentieth or hundredth listen. Also, her music has this special connection to memory and nostalgia. Once you have attached memories to her albums, listening to them becomes an even better experience. Like I listen to UV and immediately I’m hit with a waft of freshly mowed green grass, hydrangeas, lilacs, and petrichor like Summer 2014. Who else has that??
