Giving Blue Banisters a listen in preparation for tonight and I think this might be her best title track like who gets it gets it this one hits so hard she was insane for this is2g the outro is something out of this world.

Summer comes... winter goes... spring I skip... God knows...

I never imagined saying that VB would ruin something but Taco Truck deserved to be a complete song

Okay Candy Necklace is maybe the best song of her entire career :alexz: give us an entire album of this :dancehall3: Bartender’s slutty older step sister :heart2:

I am not reading any of the previous replies cuz I don’t want to spoil anything but can someone tell me if the album is coming at 12am for Europe (CET) or 6am tomorrow?

I know I was shitting on the barefeet chicken line not two pages ago but BB has grown on me so much over the past year. It’s so atmospheric. The album as a whole though just gets too clunky and uninspired :jonny2:

Arcadia and its horrid melodies and lyrics will never be discussed again after this album is out and completly erases BB from existence in the collective unconscious.

Just finished my first full listen! I feel this is her most cohesive work to date (except for the last 3 songs; maybe she meant them as bonuses for those who made it that far into the album :WAP:

My fave is Paris, Texas :alexz2:that melody just screams instant classic.

But gotta say I understand why the reception from critics seem kinda lukewarm so far. Casual listeners would probably tune out halfway through the album (due to how it gets increasingly quieter from the first Interlude til Fingertips).

The album only fully clicks when I heard Fingertips and started crying :chick3: Not sure if this sounds silly but I got Disney soundtrack vibe all the way from Sweet, and when it reaches Fingertips, it makes me think of Ariel sitting under the ocean singing about her life :gaycat6: (the songs b4 that kinda make u sit down & turn off your senses?) Then from Grandfather onwards it's her getting out of the water & living her best life :intoit:

In short, most of the songs are meant to be listened together and not as standalone tracks. I will give it a few more listens before ranking :flower2: tho for now this album seems to have a certain quality that makes it different from the rest of her discography (maybe it's the vocal delivery?)

I’m so excited stop :date: but everyone else said it’s quite incohesive so I’m interested to see who’s right here! I will be making the final verdict at 11pm CT, I fear! Stay tuned, fagguetes! Fries Eating GIF
