RIAA units includes streaming and pure sales.

Btw, a gold certification (500.000 units) is only 75M streams, and, unlike Billboard, RIAA doesn't differentiate between paid and free streams, therefore, streaming a song from Apple Music is counted the same way as streaming it for free on Youtube. No wonder lately almost every song seems to receive multi-platinum certs, even a flop song nowadays is at least 1x platinum.

Better than nothing...

I"m sure it'll eventually reach platinum status this year.

The 2022 line-up of Oscar performers included best original song nominees Beyoncé and Billie Eilish, but 2023’s could be even more starry. Currently in contention? Rihanna for “Lift Me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Not the Oscar nominations being announced a whole month away :toofunny2:

Not every Rihanna song is going to be multiplatinum and this is a winter song so once it goes platinum I'm ok with whatever happens afterwards.
