I read the book a couple years ago and this story is 100% biographical and so brutally emotional The book left me in tears We will definitely be seated
Alyssa Edwards Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Spoiler "One of my favorite moments of the whole film was the look the girl and the main guy gave each other at the very end of the wedding. It just felt so real how the one look communicated that they had once been best friends, but that they knew they wouldn't get that closeness back again." Awww when you put it like that it's exactly what that look meant (the kiss the blew to one another felt so real) it's so sad and i hate chu @feelslikeadream
X~MoviePoP Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Of an age is great. No real nudity buy theres tension
X~MoviePoP Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Wait bcs of an age broke me. I feel sooo lost now after finishing it, i want more of their story...also the lead actor is only 24 but looks much older.
Smarticle Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 i watched 'And Then We Danced' it was cute i read the wiki and i'm surprised there was protests about the movie in Georgia even the actors didn't want to sign on cuz of the homophobia Spoiler why they always gotta end it so tragically though it was serving Firebird where the love interest just goes off and gets married and leaves
genetic fail Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 Are yall interested in a Top 100 LGBT Films countdown for Pride Month?

Oh, that would be fun, although I don't know if there are enough active posters here for it. But I'd submit!

That would be a fun idea it would just need to be promoted insistently on the forum so a good number of people send in data.

Loving the enthusiasm I'll definitely roll it out and do some promo in May OT: Just watched The Man with the Answers and it was a little too short for my liking. The couple is definitely one of the hottest gay film couples though. I just wish Mathias had more backstory 'cause it all felt so one-sided. Good watch though! 7/10
Katamari Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 yall should get into the stuff from japan lots of tongue sucking, nipple licking, and most importantly GOOD acting and messy drama and sometimes maybe even a little more
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted April 6, 2023 Author ATRL Moderator Posted April 6, 2023 I didn't really like Close very much I'm pretty sensitive tbh and expected to cry, but I wasn't moved even a little. I thought it was all very surface and lacked the depth needed to make me emotionally engaged. Great performances though, especially for child actors!
harwee Posted April 6, 2023 Posted April 6, 2023 Where Are You Going Habibi? We need better writers , 4/10
Katamari Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 why is the strong ones better than some porn in terms of passion when Antonio sticks his fingers deep into Lucas' mouth i don't think that was in the script
Alyssa Edwards Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Spanish film. Good start but turns... really weird in ways that i can't exactly explain. The subplots are awkward yet somehow important so that makes for a pretty strange film. The good thing is that Isabel Torres (who played the older version of Veneno in the series ) appears, handsome leads but that's about it.

Spoiler That scene did feel kind of improvised, like when he was biting his shoulder while topping. They had good chemistry; it's just too bad the filmmaker is actually homophobic and didn't include any clear coq shots Were you shook when the gays went to the ocean together but then didn't frolick in the water?

Definitely hit hard for me! It had funny dialogue, an unpredictable plot and great performances. This film deserves more recognition

It was cute, even though I'm an antinatalist. Spoiler But the leads didn't really have chemistry, so the sock conversation and aftermath felt shoehorned in I think it would have been cuter if they just had a nice friendship that changed each other's perspectives or whatever. It felt pretty random and out-of-character for Oldie to cheat on his partner given all his moral grandstanding. Also, the young one's horror film JAIL. Anyway, Middle Eastern men are so hot.... That Grindr grid
