I highly doubt that :toofunny3: and it doesn't answer my question either.

Hence why Beyoncé was able to be the 3rd most streamed female on Spotify last year without releasing anything on Spotify. The acts that were most pirated before are now being the most streamed since streaming defeats the purpose of pirating.

#18? :skull:

I thought it'd at least make the Top 10 given the tragic sales these days.

Oh wow.

Chantaje is a bigger hit ww than anything Fattyoncé has released since 2009 :cm:

It really is NOT lmao :skull:

Drunk In Love and Run The World were all bigger.

Chantaje hasn't even sold 500k ww in pure sales, it's all streaming coming from South America.

Shakira's numbers are so mehhh. :!ohno: It'd be doing better than it. :fish2: She's deserved this, though. :emofish:

Run The world? :ahh:

And no, Chantaje was a huge hit in Europe too. And when will the Hive undestand that no one gives a **** about sales anymore, it's all about streams.

It wasn't a 'huge' hit, it only went Top 10 in Spain and then in a few small countries. I'll give you Italy as well (#11) but that's it. :skull:

And sales are still important, we still have artists selling a lot, if Shakira is not one of them you don't need to be fuming. :gaycat3:

And btw I'm not a Beyoncé stan but I can spill some tea, so you can take that 'when will the Hive1!!!1111!!!' back. :toofunny3:

It was a big hit, nothing will change that. Like it's not even an English song but ok. And no, sales don't matter. The only reason beyoncé is still selling a little is because her album isn't on any streaming device, sales are dead and that's a fact.

Shakira this decade is a million times bigger than Beyoncé and that will never change.

Wait? How? She's ****ing 5 on Itunes...I don't understand a ****.

Shut the **** up, bitch, you are sooooo annoying, seriously, your fave doesn't have a global hit since 2008 and you dare to drag Shakira.

Does Beyonce need a hit single when she can have hit album/ hit tour?

Don't attack Beyonce, just because you hate that Hive member,

Were some of you expecting Shakira to pull 100k or so in US? She's been a "flop" there for a while and this is a Spanish album or y'all have really high expectations for her or it's delusion at its best.

The Beatles :clap3:

i wish they were the #1 :(

I was expecting for shakira a little bit more around 40k but well she has not done promotion at all :emofish:

I know the album has 2 huge hits (la bicicleta and chantaje) but I wish she had gone to the BBMAs, Ellen, Fallon...

Anyways, Perro Fiel is coming to slay :eatpopcorn:

She gave us a mediocre album and 2 random streeet unwanted performances. I'm glad it tanked.  Retire and go back to Barcelona, I would have rather gotten a full album sang by someone else (Britney Jean style) but not 8 recycled songs translated and call it a personal album.   Bye bitch

It's Platinum in France, 2xP in Italy, 4xP in Spain (#1), 16xLatin Platinum in the US for 960.000 SPS. That's a huge Latin hit.

28.000 now, are the predictions going up? Enrique opened with 24.000 in 2014, so actually good numbers for a Spanish album. I still expected more, maybe she blesses us with promo.

I know right how pathetic would someone need to be to be SO presed at an ATRL poll? And it definitely shows in some of the responses from the Hive in this thread.

That's just from one torrent site which wasn't even the most popular at the time, it's also not even including direct downloads which are just as used and harder to track. Sorry to break it to you but I doubt an album with little exposure is the most pirated album of all time :lmao: and considering the other albums there, it seems those are mostly US downloads :dies:

Not everyone who pirated music suddently stopped doing it because of Spotify and Youtube is still the most used streaming service. Also, Beyoncé wasn't even in Spotify's Top 5 female artists last year so I don't know what you're talking about.

Wow 3 replies and you still didn't answer my question :doc:

Can you stop with this borderline racist nonsense? Chantaje was #51 on the H100 with NO promo, Despacito a huge spanish hit with promo was #46 before the Justin Bieber remix. So the song did pretty well for a spanish song in the US and it also did good in Europe.

(*) Shakira (Sony Music Latin) 25-28k, 19-21k

Not bad, srsly, considering US was not a target audience for this project at all  & the majority of songs are Spanish. Chantaje wasn't even sent to radio or anything. Enrique Iglesias did similar numbers with his last album.

The 18 is because lots of the artists above her have high streaming.
