Really good. With the tour, grammys and part 2 and 3 2XP before the end of 2023.

I really wish she promoted this era. It would have been her biggest era commercially since I am sasha fierce, and it will help the albums have good recurrent streams in the long run. Heated, Alien superstar, cuff it, cozy and American has a problem are potential big hits that would have solidified this era with the gp.

Just to get dragged... because rena is doing in few months what that album took years

She really left the era for dead and it still did all this :deadbanana4:

Which just goes to show good music, sometimes, will sell itself :clap3:

It looks like someone's back:bird:

OT: Great numbers for an artist 40+ years old.:gaycat4:

So in the same amount of time, Chrom only garnered half as many streams as Ren? Even with the Ariana?

@Hot Volcano explain?

It outdid Chromatica easily. :skull:

What position was it at the week before for it to be #38 even after a 30% increase?

this is amazing for bey. she really showed people that the GP will always embrace her music, independently of her sidegigs as a carter or disney soundtrack curator :clap3:

the Katy, Camila, and GaGa stans infesting this thread :deadbanana4:

a solo #1, months in the BB200 Top 10, 9 Grammy nominations & now a platinum certification less than six months in :jonny5:I can see why Bey has the girls bothered. She's been telling you she's that girl.

Good for her I guess ,but Midnights clearly eclipses this album in 2022. This cute lil achievement ain’t it. :toofunny3:

Gil Chromatica is almost 4 years... Renaissance is doing in 4 months what that album took more than a year

1M US units

Renaissance: 3 Months

Chromatica: 1 year and 3 months

Almost 4 years old? Huh? Check your math :rip:

90% of pure sales are within the first 2 months.

Rennasaince is currently doing 3k weekly, so still a long way to reach Chromatica's numbers :dies:

Exactly: 3 years sales vs 4 months sales

How come so many of you are having issues with basic calculations :deadbanana4:

Spotify and streaming grew a lot in 2 years.

From 2020 to 2021, active monthly users went up 24%, let's say the same thing happened from 2021 to 2022. When we sum everything up, Rennasaince pulled similiar numbers to Chromatica :dies:

The way y’all rush to complain about Swifties in every topic on this forum :rip: not a single Taylor fan in here shaded her, it was quite visibly a Katy Perry fan who brought her up unprovoked in this thread. But yes, The Swifties!1!1!1!!!1, even tho most of us on here support Bey.

Anyway… this is objectively good for a woman so far along into her career. Great numbers and the streaming is stable, it’ll definitely reach 2x Platinum with her tour and the following acts coming up. If she pushes more singles it’ll move towards that even faster. Not sure why people even dare to compare it to albums that took years to reach these numbers, it doesn’t make sense. And it’s not a drag that 3 months of an album’s sales hasn’t outsold those with years to accumulate units. The only valid comparison would be between Renaissance and the other album at the 3-4 month mark :rip:

Chromatica - 1M units (13 months)

REN - 1M units (3 months)  with no promotion

Pack it up :lmao:

No one is comparing it to midnight. They are just celebrating beyoncé and her achievements. Why the unnecessary comparison??

my god you're so dumb it's ridiculous. its the audacity to call out people on basic math for me lol

dont you get tired of embarrassing your fave and your fanbase? why are you bringing WORLWIDE GROWTH and outdated SPOTIFY-only data to a thread about US STREAMS for an album that had much better streaming performance in APPLE MUSIC than SPOTIFY in such country? Chromatica was not touching the streaming stats of Renaissance in that platform. spotify and the streaming market in general grew, but your little calculation at the end is not how STATISTICS work, honey. If you wanted to assess how chromatica and renaissance compare streaming-wise you'll need to know their streams share of the current total for their respective years and how that compare to the overall market :rip: take a class and stay in college please

Re: pure sales, didn’t Chromatica have bundles?

And that’s Spotify, how much have other services increased/decreased? CDs? Vinyl? Digital sales?
