I think If she released it when she first announced it, it would have done better. I think the year delay stopped the hype of her initial post about it with that cool transition from her first album to this one. Now with this hate train, I don't think JLO is going to have a good rest of the year, in terms of the GP & her music being well-received. I hope she can return with something gag-worthy that'll turn the ship around. i totally agree and i cant forgive her for that . i played that transition teaser more than 50 times when it came out . they always mess things up and the outcome is real despite that the album is steady and cohesive . it s one of her best album to date . good feel music . 2

I feel it's her only album that I cannot listen a song on its own and it has to be the whole project. A cohesive record despite naysayers, I have to listen to it fully! Tracklist was perfected. 1
livelikemusic Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Still in my top three albums of 2024; when other artists have tried to "re-visit" a sound and failed, Jennifer did it seamlessly, and it's excellent. 6

PopMusicJunkie Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Agreed. The album remains a solid listen, and I still love this being a sequel to a fan-favorite. 3

Sabandija Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I don't think this is a bad album but she had it really hard. She had extremely bad press. Social media was espreading hate about her every day. On top of that, I think the sound of this album only appeals to her day-one-fans. I don't see young people connecting with this throw back sound. Things have changed.

kayliah Posted July 24 Posted July 24 I hate rnb hip hop jlo of 2014 and after. Her hip song and rnb songs have been awful since that period. AKA is an absolute turkey. She should have gone full pop, dance and latin pop. 1

Things have changed. I love your take. I'm a day-one-fan and have been enjoying this ride so much. I just can't believe how the press and social media were able to destroy her so quickly. It's impressive how that backlash didn't affect Atlas' performance on Netflix but I'm worried about the future. 1
mickeyderon Posted August 16 Posted August 16 If anything I think Jennifer will make some more music, probably more uptempo and dance/Latino and they'll be one off singles. But it won't surprise me if she comes back and makes a brand new album. I do wish she'd put the redman remix of Can't Get Enough out and the other remixes previewed in the documentary. 1
