Avril Lavigne to join Chinese reality TV series

 

POP punk princess Avril Lavigne is rumoured to be taking part in the next season of Chinese reality TV series Sisters Who Make Waves.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the show – which has been credited with reviving the careers of singers such as Cyndi Wang, Rainie Yang and Twins – was said to have signed the Canadian superstar for the upcoming season.

“Mango TV has confirmed the news. As Avril is planning to tour China this year, she will take part in Season Four of Sisters Who Make Waves to generate the hype needed (for her tour to succeed),” a viral post read.

The rumour quickly became a trending topic, with some pointing out that Lavigne appears to have set her sights on China as she performed at the Bilibili New Year’s Eve Gala just over a month ago.

“Whether it is a rumour or not, Avril remains an icon of our era,” a netizen wrote.

Her first album Let Go (2002), is reportedly the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist.

She won’t even sign release forms to be shown on the Kardashians when she’s at their wedding. It was hilarious how they edited her out of the episode when she was a date of Brody who was all over the episode

 

Theres NO WAY she’s putting herself through a week by week reality TV show singing contest. She’d definitely be a judge.

Well, i know that someone will jump at me for  this post but i personally think I'm  A Mess is quite boring so  that's the main reason it flopped  in stream. 

 

Meghan Trainor debuted  in late 2014? So she's only  8 years into her career and she's only  28.  I really  don't know how to not sound ageism  but age has always been a factor for female artists in this  industry. So  it will  be much  harder  for  Avril  to  make  a  comeback. Considering  she  also  flopped  longer  than  Megan  who  still  scored  hits  in 2016.  Plus Meghan Trainor was lucky because MAde You Look became a Tik  Tok huge hit. 

 

I'd  rather  she  work  on  her  legacy  reputation  than  care  so  much  about  commercial  success  now.  In  order  to  do  that,  she  shouldn't  be  an  opener  for  any  other  artist.  I  mean  girl,  i  don't see the point why you have to that? I  don't know if they wanted to introduce her to the rock audience who follow MGK or something but i  think  it  hurt  her  reputation more  than  help her.
