Bebe Rexha is going to deliver her 5th organic Billion streamer on Spotify for the Grammy nominated I'm Good. It climbed from #81' to #7 on the Hot 100 and has been #1 in other countries. It was released Aug 26th 2022.  Anyone surprised?

It's incredible how she has several MASSIVE hits across different genres yet is totally and utterly faceless as an artist and is basically not famous. She's like the ultimate behind the scenes hit songwriter who also wanted to be a star and yet despite getting the hits isn't really a star. Her career trajectory is bizarre. But in a way she wins because she still gets to live her dream, makes a ton of money, but doesn't have to deal with the BS of being followed everywhere, stalkers, intimidating romantic partners, etc.

I'd honestly rather have her career-life balance than some of the main pop girls tbh. She gets all of the perks with none of the pitfalls. Literally, she's good.

It's crazy to think this song was made 5? years ago and it was never going to be released until someone uploaded an audio this summer in TikTok and then it blow up! Power to Bebe because she always wins at the end. I'm happy for her

To be fair, the song had the biggest playlist reach peak of all time with 312M and currently still has 298M.

Even smash hits like Stay 277M or Blinding Lights 240M couldn´t go that high.

the heavy sample, generic beat and vocals won’t do anything for her career but it’s a cute moment for her that you know she craves

What do you mean is still has 298M streams? Where are you getting that info? 

 

To be fair some artists songs that have a huge marketing budget are removed from playlists like TTH after a month or two if people are just skipping over it. It even happens to their leads.

It still has 298M playlist reach. Not streams.
