To hide a drug addiction.

that's the truth she was addicted to pain killers kind of drugs based on her hard high energy dancing routines through 80's and 90's. her work schedule between creating choreography to other artist tours, creating her own and going on live performances to her own long spellbound tour from 88-93 truly had a price on her and that's what she's got. after spellbound she's gone into rehab for a year. anyway I don't know and I don't believe it was that easy to let it go since she must have suffered from chronic pain.

sad but that's what it is. if media has done her dirty for vibeology's costume for AMA performance imagine what they would say about a 'crackhead'.

She was always high on idol and probably high when she concocted this story

She claimed in 1995 that she went to rehab for her eating disorder, but I think it was in addition to other reasons.

Paula has a habit of embellishing stories. Her original account of this incident just said it was airplane turbulence and she injured her neck/spine. The story has now turned into a "crash" for dramatic effect. She also does this with stories about songs she recorded to. For an example, she claimed her mother heard the demo for "Straight Up," felt into heretics laughing and threw out in the garbage, but Paula retrieved it from the trash. In the original account, she and her mom just thought it was bad, but she pursued it anyway.

This lady lies about everything.

Not you accusing Paula of lying about everything, but not even watching the video you posted as evidence. The YouTuber doesn't point any lies. She's actually very objective narrates the major events in her career and controversies. :skull:

Well, I give her the benefit of the doubt because we all know she's been on meds for the past 25+ years. Let's not forget her behavior on American Idol where she completed invented a non-existent performance from a contestant who hadn't performed on the show yet.

I don't log in much. Just found the thread by searching for Paula's name because the same topic came up in a different thread.
