Illuminati Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 You can make calls over the internet without a telephone so the versatile queen Internet wins this one
byzantium Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Obviously the internet. The Internet may arguably be the single greatest invention in human history.
ninasayers Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Telephone was the trailblazer ofc but the internet is obviously better.

John Slayne Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 telephone paved the way but internet has done so much more and we haven't even harnessed all of its potential yet, internet changed and keeps changing everything

Devin Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Telephone. Its more of a necessity than the Internet.
TurntUp Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 The telephone. It’s crazy to think like we used to just pick up this box and hit some numbers and could talk to anyone we wanted instantly

Great is not a synonym for good especially in this context. Also, I would add that the period after the invention of the printing press was pretty disruptive and arguably “degenerative”, yet I would argue the printing press was still a good and worthwhile invention. Similarly there have been many positive outcomes from the internet as well and we will learn to live with this invention just like all the others.
