That’s what happens when you’re the biggest female artists in demand on streaming services :clap3:

Rih, Bey, and Taylor legends of this century.

• Taylor Swift just released an album, has multiple songs going viral from her other studio albums, and is averaging 70M+ daily streams.

• Rihanna has the most classic songs discography of any Pop act this century and her songs can be catered to a variety of playlists (Pop/Dance/R&B/Hip-Hop). Also, she’s averaging 20M+ daily streams and is the most streamed female (daily) after Swift and among the top ten overall.

They deserve this playlisting.

Yeah its way too low.

Only 50M more than #5 is extremely stupid. She is getting 3-4 times more streams than any other female

Should be at least 800M

Let's pretend most Spotify playlist reach is not paid by music labels

If it were organic, Taylor should have 3 times more than the second one

Considering she dwarves her peers in streaming numbers and has done for  2 years, Taylor’s playlist reach should in theory be much greater.

Gaga isn't there, I'm surprised..

Yet she's outstreaming half of the list so her streams must be organic I fear. :clap3:

Top4 have all successful recent releases so it's no wonder.

The only ones looking a bit odd are Dua and Ariana

MTE but it's so frustrating though :toofunny3: imagine if she had a more competent team/label that made a sincere effort to capitalize on recent trends by pitching songs regularly and prioritizing better playlisting, she'd have a top 10 residency forever :rip:

Oh well. You know what they say :gaygacat4:

Taylor and Rihanna makes sense.

Billie being third to last yet is almost always #2-4 most streamed female daily :rip:

It really doesn't make any sense for some artists to have almost 600M playlist reach when Spotify only has around 400M active users.  It leads you to think 600M Spotify users are being exposed to that artist through playlists but it's just not true.  If one user follows several playlists they shouldn't count that user like it's a different one in all the playlists featuring one song or artist. It's still only one user that's being exposed to a song except in different playlists but it shouldn't be added to a song/artist total play reach.

You guys acting like playlists are just random selections of songs :rip:

What Midnight songs should be playlisted for workouts, cookouts, clubs, predrink sessions? And let's not get into actual genre playlists.

There's obviously label support behind playlisting but the variety/type of music artists put out also has an impact

Probably not possible to track that :celestial5:

Guess Spotify could do it, but dont think they themselves are ever posting something like that.

But the number is also very irrelevant. It's just about the numbers relative to each other.

And you are mentioning active users. Dont think you need to be active to have once clicked "follow" on a playlist

Lana Del Rey nowhere in this list and yet she stays in the Top 5 most streamed, she's defying typical pop and alt artist expectations
