I think he’s doing it on purpose. Twitter is the only site where you can get information is real time as its happening. Instagram and Tik Tok feeds are all based on your interests and don’t necessarily show you anything people have posted in real time.

Kik was never on the same level as Twitter, even at it's peak. Twitter is too popular and now with all the employees leaving the site will not survive. It could literally crash because he fired (or they quit) the teams that keep it online

Funnily enough, I felt like Elon wanted to devalue Twitter before buying it, so that people would no longer use it so I guess our thinking is similar.

 

However, after a while, I just started seeing him as an overtly confident douchebag which is really what he is ultimately. I think he didn't understand the Twitter work culture, and he shot himself in the foot various times. Perhaps people at Tesla are more responsive to his "bro" approach. 

 

I think we are giving him too much credit. I'm curious to see what that would mean for the loan he received? Is he still required to reimburse it in full or are there any clauses allowing him to back off from it?
