75% of Twitter's job force quits

Is the thing about the entire Android staff walking true? Now may be a decent time to uninstall the app if you’re on Android. If I were a hacker, I’d be striking while the iron is hot and unattended.

Most of yall don't follow normal positive informational accounts or art accounts and it shows

Ofc yall would be celebrating people losing their jobs and people losing access to instant information and yall would generalize the whole app as just a place for toxic stans, cancel culture mobs and p*rn like how yall generalize TikTok as just random snotty nosed kiddies doing cringe dance challenges

Anyway, something will just take its place in the future, hopefully it's not something worse

literally mte lmao

I love Twitter so much :cries: hope things end well, for the workers and the users, why couldn't Elon buy instagram or Facebook?

Imagine saying one of the biggest tech companies in the world having a platform that is a “glitching mess” and describing that as “alive and working” while calling OTHER people dumb :rip:

Well you are dumb, since you didn't get the point of my post (thankfully others did). Twitter is already glitching for people (complaints about tweets loading multiple times) but it is not down, which is what I'm saying. It might continue having issues, but the site definitely isn't going down by Monday as the OP says. Any decline with twitter will be gradual (maybe months) not the site being up today, then gone by Monday.

Honestly it’s such an important resource

It will 100% be faster than that, much faster. The World Cup is this weekend and the demand from that will destroy the website with the amount of strain it’ll be under from the extremely increased traffic. They’ve lost their entire finance/payroll team & offices have been closed. Would also expect any employee that has an option to leave, not tied to a visa or something, will be soon with the increased work load and demand

Offices are closed bc hundreds of people left and they don't have enough staff to deactivate their badge access (plus, Elon thinks ex-employees want to mess with the platform's stability and/or destroy equipment).

..yes. lol is having so little employees one of the biggest tech companies can't deactivate a badge supposed to be a good thing or?

no, I'm just saying that because they are short on staff EVERYTHING will take longer, thus my point about twitter not imploding from one day to another like everyone says, but instead it's going to be gradual over the next few months.

If your point isn't what you typed than maybe rethink what youre saying :giraffe:  Either way, what you said and are still describing is no way alive & thriving just because it is technically still functional.  It's not dramatic to expect a tech platform to work. Nor is it dramatic to speculate on it shutting down when they lost a vast majority of employees, don't have money coming in, and everything is pointing that way.

Nah, seems like a you problem as a result of the challenges you seem to be facing, other people seem to get it fine

the OP also does not say that. The OP just says it's about to be down, which if it continues and all most speculation is pointing to that.

You know that OP means "opening poster", and here's literally a post with a tweet in it saying "twitter might not last through the weekend"? Which is what I was referring to?

Again, please go exhibit your clear worms for brains and eagerness to jump the gun somewhere else, dummy.

ATRL stays surviving like the cockroach of the internet :clap3: :gaydonnacat1:

Interesting move for a rich anti-free speech apartheid nepo baby to purchase one of the largest digital platforms that transmits news faster than any media company can and then drive it into the ground within 3 weeks

Almost as if it’s part of a larger plan

Sweetie, Twitter isn't shutting down. Ignore the exagerrated dramatics.

Elon seems over it

Meanwhile Twitter is booming with record activity:

really hope this doesn’t happen :weeps: twitter is by far the most useful social media…people keep saying to shift to insta or tumblr but those are completely different formats and platforms. twitter is the easiest way to outlet, have fun, keep up with news, and follow your friends and favs! people don’t use instagram in that same capacity, it’s not as interactive

Does the Space Karen, apartheid manchild have a stan on ATRL now?!?

Damn, these bots are everywhere now.

Most big companies are very bloated

If this signals the beginning of a wider trend that’s actually very bad news. A lot of the middle class honestly consists of people with jobs that don’t really need to exist in order for the companies to provide the services that they do. Most HR, communications, marketing, project management, etc. departments aren’t vitally necessary most of the time

ATRL outlasting Twitter is crazy.

This whole scenario is shady af. How do you spend billions of dollars just to tank it? What's the agenda?

I’ve seen people say it’s the lefts main source of organizing and such and Elon is tanking it because people more powerful than him paid him to
