genetic fail Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 (edited) Quote Veteran distributor Gary Pudney’s O4 Media has struck a deal to represent World of Wonder’s Drag Race format across Asia, in territories including Thailand, India, Japan, Singapore and South Korea. The drag competition format has already been adapted in the UK, France, Italy, Canada, Spain, Australia and New Zealand after beginning life in 2009 on U.S. channel Logo TV. O4 will also take spin-off format Secret Celebrity Drag Race into Asia. This sees celebrities attempt to pull off lip sync performances while hiding their true identities behind drag personas. That Bad Eartha Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Hope Thailand comes back and still has Art and Pangina as the hosts. It is still my favorite of the spin offs.
Fevesy Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Ayumi's M for the finale lipsync song of Japan
KaledKalil Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 For us that follows the show since the beginning, it's so nice seeing how things just keep getting bigger and bigger.
Communion Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 It's a shame that Thailand lost its original production company because it was nice to have a series of the show that wasn't afraid to be it's own thing and not always do the more staple tropes of the show. Hopefully Art will remain the host for Thailand.
