UNLESS Official Charts only started counting Youtube streams starting from 2018 and any Youtube streams before 2018 are not considered.

Do you really think Adele doesn't have a song in the top 10 of the most streamed song ever in the Uk?. That ava max has been bigger than someone like you?  

Even Sheeran only has his post 2017 songs and not Thinking out loud.

Easy On Me was Adele’s first song in the complete streaming era lol it’s not that unbelievable. Hello’s first week was still majority downloads based. The list obviously favours songs which became massive in the peak of the streaming era so it’s not that unbelievable that Someone Like You is #79 given it came out in 2011.

This is also true, I guess my theory is true then. The only Youtube streams counted are after 2018. YT streams before 2018 are not counted

 

I guess this also explains why Hello and LMLYD's UK certifications seem very low when in fact they were GINARMOUS smashes

Yea but Hello has 1.33B streams on Spotify which is massive and LMLYD has 1.55B. It doesnt make sense that they didnt make it at all.

 

And their Youtube streams are even better.
