And here you're concerned about Taylor instead?

Some of you nasty a** stinky g@ys (no offense) can't never be happy about a woman that's not ur fave being successful and almost immediately proceed to bring them down.

I honestly really like Harry and I even like As It Was but that song was a purchased #1 for 15 weeks thanks to the radio contract. Harry has 37 songs in his entire discography (two of which are spotify singles ). USTV's tracklist alone is almost 2/3rds of Harry's discography. The fact that Harry is even on here is incredible with how lean his albums are. Trying to come for AIW when it's still receiving 4m+ daily streams on Spotify 8 months after release and is one of the biggest songs of all time is an odd choice.

FOH with that bullsh*t We don't own her sh*t. Yall miserables as* swifties are themselves never happy or praise any other pop girl be it beyonce , gaga , rihanna etc and u expect us to be happy for this plasma flat screen basic vanilla ass music making beyotch.. Never Ever Ever. The level of hate some of y'all can develop for an artist you don't like just because she is pushing numbers and getting critical acclaim is beyond unhealthy my god...

FolkLover1989 Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Taylor has moved way more pure than anyone in the Top 10 list , so she doesn't have to worry about streams only lol

This is why I prefer looking at the most streamed artist list versus most streamed *female artist list because lists like the OP are more accurate to what the GP is consuming which by and large are male artists and Taylor Swift. And that's not to diminish the female artists that have seen success these past few years, but I genuinely thought more female artists (sans Taylor) were moving up the ranks just by looking at who was dominating the most streamed female artists lists Spotify drops every couple of days, but in the grand scheme of things they're not and are still trailing behind their male contemporaries, which is telling but not surprising. The only that can compete without an astrid by her name and regardless of gender is Taylor. That's why the stan fights between the pop girls are ultimately petty and useless. Every year the most consumed artists always look the same. Sexism plays a huge part, but it really goes to show how little the needle has moved despite some talented female artists emerging in the last few years and why the flop drags between pop girls (and even stans betw. female rappers who also trail behind male rappers who are nowhere on this list) are a self-drag when most of ATRL fave pop & rap girls sans Taylor are never on these most streamed artist of year lists. Not the most streamed female artist, but just artist in general, which is bc most of our faves cannot compete up against dominant male artists and that's the cold hard truth. Hope to see this change in the near future though. This is so dishonest. As usual swifties are undercutting other women and acting like their fav is the only person to ever do something. Taylor is having a good year and her numbers reflect her hard work and constant releases (as well as Spotify’s growth), but she’s not an anomaly as much as you wish it so. Every woman has their moment (and sometimes multiple women do concurrently). Two years ago she was missing. Now she’s at the top. In due time, Someone else will replace her since that’s just the name of the game.

Her selling over a million copies debut week in era where music doesn't sell well anymore solidified that. But I do love to see Ariana and Billie representing a couple years back. Can't wait until they drop again so they can give these men even more competition and hopefully some more new girls will breakout soon and secure their spots next year's list. It will be nice to see a shake up and some new girls in the midst. 2022 was way too male dominated for my tastes. Need more diversity than just 1 to 3 women every year out of men, sometimes only 1, like this year
