Not when Malibu is one of her worst songs, while Coconuts, Unholy and IJWAR are great... And Reminds Me is really cute, way better than Floplibu for sure

I think Malibu is pretty bad too. Coconuts is ok I guess.

 

She ain’t touching Era 1 or Clarity tracks though, and DEFINITELY not TOTL. Her quality these past 3 years has completely plummeted imo. Unholy isn’t a good song either in my own personal opinion lol.. but that’s not really Kim’s fault nor is it her song.

Anyway we all low key knew the song would flop but I still think it's a mega bop. Who cares though, she's proven herself again and again and "If Jesus was a Rockstar" has had a truly shoddy and bungled release. Teased WELL over a month ago, probably two months ago, on twitter, Kim has been forced to endlessly beg for pre-saves which I'm not unconvinced is anything more than a weird attempt to give everyone music label's permissions to access and edit their spotify / apple playlists and user data etc.

 

Where is the music performance? Where is the late night booking? Where is the music video? Where is the 2nd week remix dropping? Like you've got to work if you want a hit Miss Republic. The absolute addiction to "viral" songs and relying on random attention seeking "content creators" and "influencers" to make a song do something I'm TIRED of this generation of music.

Could. not. agree. more. I been saying this for months. Republic stays lazy af and think the bare minimum is enough to make Kim successful when all it does is set her up for floppage. 
 

Ppl saying that her label is “pushing” this song… um how? funding a proper photoshoot and getting it on some playlists? Ok… that’s the bare minimum.
