Y’all have learned nothing from Beyonce’s soundtrack singles, if you really think a new ACTUAL lead single from her will pull these numbers then I don’t know what to say.

Beyonce's soundtrack singles were not plastered on TTH, did not have the biggest radio rollout of all time, and was not her comeback music of 6 years.

Born Again, which is what the thread is about, has barely any radio play and like Lift Me Up is not a proper comeback.

 

The point is that Spirit, The Gift and Be Alive tanked and y'all were all over this forum saying Beyonce is done because of it until Renaissance shut y'all up. The singles from her album, if it's actually released, will obviously debut better but keep playing dumb.

I don't doubt her lead will perform well but using the soundtrack excuse to justify the horrible performance of these two songs after the massive amount of promotion and layout simply does not work, especially in comparison to Spirit or Be Alive.
