ChrisTheLoner Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Drake's music is trash and he's local asf Taylor on the other hand makes qualitea music and is global asf
MardinBeksloy Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 I can’t believe i live through ATRL calling Drake local and Taylor global
Trainwreck Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 See when you're a GLOBAL LEGEND anything is possible
hallucinate Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 we need midnights to spend another week at #1 though
aesthetic bih Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 So he delayed the album to be the #1 streamed, only for Tay to overtake again 2 days later

AUS, DEN, CAN, NZ, NOR, SCO, UK, US = 8. Link Oh but Scorpion is bigger! Lets check, AUS, CAN, DEN, SWI, NZ, CZ, FIN, NET, IRE, SWE, UK, US = 12. Link Taylor Swift at her global peak went #1 across 25 markets while Drake at his peak barely passed half the countries. Is Drake still more global?
Six Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Never thought I’d see the day Taylor Swift outselling Drake and it’s not even close …. I’m in shambles … I’m so proud of my girl Swifties keep winning
Protocol Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 'Midnights' is going to end up the biggest album globally since 'When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go'. It's literally days away from surpassing the global units of her last album 'Evermore'. On the other hand, Drake is declining, 'Honestly Nevermind' was an almost 80% drop from 'Certified Lover Boy' and he's had to lean on collaborating with another artist for hype for this new project. He still has a massive audience but the signs of wear are starting to show. Everything he releases isn't guaranteed to smash anymore. They are the #1 female and male artist of that late 2000s generation of stars. In five years it will be interesting to see where they both are. Taylor will probably still be absolutely massive. But who knows about Drake...
Jude Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 (edited) Drake is pretty local. Not surprised. Edited November 7, 2022 by Jude

Focus on your pop girlie discussions. You people always expose yourselves with your Drake discussions.
Obsession Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Drake fell off and hasn't been worth listening to since Views/Scorpion at best, and people are starting to see that now.
