The thing is, the swifties and her core Stan base have been streaming midnights only( or mostly) since it has arrived. The “big” fan base her haters say just stream her on a loop as their excuse for her streaming numbers.

But the thing is nobody thought the Hot 100 #1 was possible this week... And then suddenly TOTC tweeted her doing 100k+ when the tracking week was almost over.

I'm still very confused how this happened 

 

Albums is another thing though. Much more expensive. Physicals, sure, she can always move them. But dont think she had more ready to do signed or something.

And spending that much money on a digital album... Idk.

don't think swifties were "mass buying" them, i think she just has organic demand. there's a reason no one was expecting these numbers, in fact we were in disbelief when we heard it broke 90k. do you think every high sales week in mass buying? may as well disregard the entire hot 100 pre-2019 then. billboard has banned mass buying anyway
