What percentage does radio contribute to the H100 weighting?

There is no set percentage :gaycat6:

Seems like on average a song has something like 30% or so of its Hot 100 points coming from radio currently

Hopefully the intensive promo pays off. :lakitu: It's such a wild card of a song, I genuinely have no clue how the gp will react to it in the long run.

just read the yt comments under the music video

nothing but positive response from the GP!

Damn the payola is strong

I've never seen a soundtrack song getting payolad this hard...#1 on TTH Spotify, 100M+ playlist first day, close to 30M radio 1st day...insane.

Its giving Look What You Made Me Do, but at least that was enjoyable

Probably the most blatant payola in decades. :deadbanana:

Charts are so easy to manipulate, why do we even care about them at this point?

People screaming “payola!I!!” :rip:

It’s the first solo RIHANNA (the biggest artist of the CENTURY on radio) song in years. Of course it was gonna have a massive debut. :rip:

A ballad by a gp darling dedicated to a beloved actor that’s the lead single of marvel’s most critical acclaimed franchise. It was always going to do great on radio !:sistrens:

Hopefully she gets good treatment when her official redebut songs are released

It’s obviously due to a radio deal but it’s not like other big names don’t have those the first week :alexz2: it just shows that the GP and radio audience were thirsty for some Rihanna. Isn’t she one of the biggest radio songs artists ever anyways?

and yet yall kept saying it ruined the hype because it was a balad for a soundtrack. Get it together you can't have it both ways

She’s the biggest artist on U.S radio since 1991.

She surpassed Mariah Carey on that front in the early/mid-2010’s.

I just think American radio wanted to play the biggest act on U.S of the last 30 years to be honest. They were desperate.

Congratulations on the streaming domination for “Midnights” though. I thought you’d be in that thread, celebrating.

But doesn't the song have a radio deal? Now those streaming numbers are indeed impressive
